Rankings:
What are the safest career options?
1st: College Counseling 8.5/10

Definitely one of the safest career options out there. The aspect of truly understanding the "feel" of colleges and wether they are truly right for an applicant relies heavily on human intuition. Furthermore, the College application experience is something deeply personal and subjective, something that is better navigated by an actual person. AI written college applications often feel monotonous and boring. While AI can work to make counselers more efficient, it is usually more of individual job, rather than a collective effort, meaning minimal job loss.
2nd: Healthcare 8/10

While AI can help analyze medical data, improve drug discovery, and make processes like pathology screening and clinical trial matching more efficient, it cannot replace the human expertise required for complex medical decisions, research oversight, and regulatory approval. Much of medicine still depends on human judgment and strict testing processes, which AI can only assist with. As a result, AI will likely reduce some entry-level tasks but also create new opportunities and make professionals more productive. For these reasons, the field still looks promising, but with some uncertainty.
3rd: Architecture 7.5/10

Architecture remains a strong choice, even in an AI-driven future. While AI can help with research, modeling, and efficiency, it can’t understand how a space feels or why people connect to it. That human judgment mixing creativity, function, and lived experience is essential to the profession. Think of AI as a better set of tools, not a replacement, much like when AutoCAD changed the field for the better
4th: Law 7.3/10

While AI can automate routine legal tasks such as document review, contract drafting, and legal research, it cannot replace the human judgment, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills required for complex legal work. Much of law still depends on strategy, persuasion, negotiation, and ethical decision making, which AI can only assist with rather than fully perform. As a result, AI will likely reduce some entry-level responsibilities while also creating new opportunities and making lawyers more efficient. For these reasons, the legal field still appears stable and valuable, although future lawyers will need to adapt to changing technology.
5th: Entertainment 7/10

Creative and exciting but risky. AI is lowering the barrier to entry, which is great if you have big ideas and little money. You can start creating early, experiment freely, and build skills fast. The trade-off is that stable jobs and real profits will mostly stay with large studios, while AI reduces crew sizes and entry level opportunities. In order to thrive in this industry, students must be highly adaptable and prepared to navigate an increasingly competitive job market
